Re the Feb. 14 article Child dies amid questionable DCF inaction: How many more children in the control of the Department of Children and Families will be allowed to suffer abuse, be murdered or disappear before some constructive steps are taken to rectify these problems? It’s time for DCF to be held accountable, but it can only be done by lifting the veil of secrecy that the agency utilizes in the name of confidentiality. Not to do so will only enable these abuses to continue.
In the name of those who have no voice, the time to act is long over due.
