Region 4-2A final – Sheridan Hills Christian 51, Westwood Christian 46: The Sharks (17-12) were able to win on the road as they defeated the Warriors (14-5) to advance to the Class 2A state semifinals at Westwood Christian. This will be Sheridan Hills Christian girl’s basketball’s first appearance at state.
Elizabeth Jenkins, Westwood head coach John Jenkin’s daughter, scored a game-high 27 points.
McCluskey led Sheridan Hills with 15 points and center Natasha Patullo had 14 points.

• Region 3-8A final – Dwyer 71, Flanagan 50: Facing one of the state’s top teams in Class 8A, Flanagan could not counter the size and athleticism of Palm Beach Garden Dwyer, as the Panthers defeated Flanagan in Pembroke Pines.
Stephania Oramas, Patricia Albano and senior Laura Morency each scored 12 points in the game for Flanagan (22-4). Senior Erin Cortes added eight points for the Falcons.
