•  Region 4-3A final — Weston Sagemont (20-8) at Miami Country Day (26-1): For the third time in six seasons, Miami Country Day is on the cusp of its first trip to state. But this is the Spartans’ most complete team ever with Danielle Minott, Onika Swaby, Chanesse Lewis and Breanna Blot leading the way. Sagemont last went to state in 2011 and needs a huge performance again from forward Ebony Griffin (13 points, 24 rebounds in regional final).

Region 4-2A final — Hollywood Sheridan Hills Christian (16-12) at Miami Westwood Christian (12-4): The fall of Hollywood Christian left a wide-open region this season. A year after losing to Hollywood 73-6 in this round, Westwood Christian is back thanks to senior guard Elizabeth Jenkins (15.3 ppg, 9.1 rpg) and junior guard Nicolette Rodriguez (13.3 ppg). Sheridan Hills Christian is one win away from state in its first season making the regional playoffs since 2004.
