Love is a sexy battlefield in Thinking Cap Theatre’s ‘The Rover,’ director Nicole Stodard’s sizzling contemporary take on a 17th-century play by Aphra Behn. Scott Douglas Wilson is a wild and crazy guy who woos Nori Tecosky’s convent-bound gal, to the dismay of a courtesan played by Lela Elam. The play is at Empire Stage, 1140 N.
