Love is a sexy battlefield in Thinking Cap Theatre’s ‘The Rover,’ director Nicole Stodard’s sizzling contemporary take on a 17th-century play by Aphra Behn. Scott Douglas Wilson is a wild and crazy guy who woos Nori Tecosky’s convent-bound gal, to the dismay of a courtesan played by Lela Elam. The play is at Empire Stage, 1140 N. Flagler Dr., Fort Lauderdale, through March 3. Performances are 8 p.m. Friday, 3 and 8 p.m. Saturday, 5 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $35 ($30 for military and seniors, $20 for students 25 and younger).     GableStage completes 2013-14 theater lineup

    GableStage artistic director Joseph Adler has announced the five shows that complete his 2013-14 season, which features the already-announced U.S. premiere of Tarell Alvin McCraney’s set-in-Haiti Antony and Cleopatra.
