The Boy Scouts’ inability to make any decision regarding gay scouts reminds me of the Defense Department with its Don’t Ask-Don’t Tell policy, which allowed gay soldiers to serve with distinction in the armed forces as long as nobody asked about their sexual orientation.
Does anyone really believe that there aren’t any gay members in the Boy Scouts who earn their merit badges just like the rest of the scouts and go on to become proud Eagle Scouts?
