Daddy duty came better late than never for Steve Martin. The New York Post reports the writer-actor is a first time father. The baby (sex unknown) is believed to have been born back in December. The paper reports Martin has been seen cuddling with a newborn near his L.A. home. The Cheaper by the Dozen star, 67, married magazine writer Anne Stringfield, 41, in 2007.

Bump watch

Americans may soon see pictures of Kate Middleton’s bump in a bikini, whether they want to or not. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were photographed by a beachgoer on the Caribbean island of Mustique and sold the pics to a number of publications. Italian gossip rag Chi, which caused outrage when it put a photo of Princess Diana dying, splashed pictures of the pregnant Duchess on its front page. Palace sources condemned the pics as “violating,” reports The Daily Mail.

Fashion footsteps

Kendall and Kylie Jenner are taking a cue from big sisters Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashian. Kendall, 17, and Kylie, 15, teamed up with PacSun to put out clothes aimed at teen girls. “We watched our sisters do their clothing line [Kardashian Kollection for Sears] — when the opportunity came to us, we jumped on it,” Kylie said in a recent AP interview.
