Chinese New Year comes to West Kendall on Sunday

With the arrival of the year of the snake, the 25th Annual Chinese New Year Festival is set to offer a day full of Asian culture and cuisine.

The festival, organized by the Chinese Cultural Foundation, is from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 17, at the Miami Dade College Kendall Campus, 11011 SW 104th St.

The event will feature cultural shows and performances for all ages. The performance show times are at 12:45 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

There will also be rock climbing, bounce houses, and slides for children’s entertainment.

Tickets to the festival are $10 for adults, $5 for children under 12, and free for children under 5.
