The Panthers traveled to Monsignor Pace on Tuesday night and turned in a 20-point victory over the Spartans in a Region 4-4A semifinal contest at Pace High School.

The Panthers (22-7) are one win away from getting back to Lakeland and will host Gulliver Prep on Saturday night in a regional final.

“We’re on a mission to get back to Lakeland,” said Cee Cee Wojcik, Charter’s 6-1 center who was one of four Panthers in double figures and led the way with 15 points and 17 rebounds. “We lost by two points [Fort Myers Dunbar] in the semifinals last year and now we want to get back up there and try and finish the job.”
