Menendez story could be concocted by Republicans

 

Isn’t the Feb. 3 headline, On the trail of a senatorial scandal, a little beneath a serious newspaper? After all, you’ve got nothing but innuendo and allegations by Peter Williams who won’t come forward and reveal who he really is.

Names, addresses and phone numbers of alleged prostitutes in Santo Domingo don’t mean that Sen. Bob Menendez knows or patronized any of them, but this Peter Williams obviously knows them all. So how do we know that it wasn’t Williams who bought their services, and that he isn’t just some smart-aleck New Jersey Republican who hates Menendez and concocted the whole story in hopes of getting a Republican elected?
