Miami house fire leaves one dead

A house fire Thursday morning in Northeast Miami has left an elderly man dead.

Rescue crews saw the man in flames outside of his bedroom in his home at Northeast 82nd Terrace and First Avenue.

Police say the fire started in a bedroom toward the back of the house around 5 a.m., according to reports from Miami Herald news partner CBS4.

It is still unclear what caused the fire, but police have confirmed that no one else was injured.
