•  Comment: Not a real flashy class, but the Tigers landed six ESPN Top 150 recruits and addressed a lot of needs, particularly on defense.

•  Top players: CB Mackensie Alexander, ILB Ben Boulware, OLB Dorian O’Daniel, RB Tyshon Dye, OG Tyrone Crowder

14. SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA TROJANS

•  Comment: USC only signed 13 recruits, but nine were ranked in the ESPN Top 150.

•  Top players: S Su’a Cravens, QB Max Browne, DT Kenny Bigelow, S Leon McQuay III, OLB Michael Hutchings

15. OKLAHOMA SOONERS

•  Comment: The Sooners only landed two ESPN Top 150 recruits, but added firepower on offense.

•  Top players: RB Keith Ford, OT Josiah St. John, DE D.J. Ward, QB Cody Thomas, ATH Stanvon Taylor

16. WASHINGTON HUSKIES

•  Comment: The Huskies’ class has impressive skill coming in at wide receiver and defensive end and added three ESPN Top 150 recruits.

•  Top players: WR Damore’ea Stringfellow, DT Elijah Qualls, WR Darrell Daniels, QB Troy Williams, DE Joe Mathis

17. NEBRASKA CORNHUSKERS

•  Comment: The Huskers reloaded at linebacker and landed their quarterback of the future.

•  Top players: DE Randy Gregory, QB Johnny Stanton, ATH Tre’vell Dixon, OLB Marcus Newby, OLB Josh Banderas

18. SOUTH CAROLINA GAMECOCKS

•  Comment: The Gamecocks once again have good speed, athleticism and quality up front headed to Columbia.

•  Top players: DT Kelsey Griffin, RB David Williams, QB Connor Mitch, ILB Larenz Bryant, OT Alan Knott

19. TEXAS LONGHORNS

•  Comment: The Longhorns have three ESPN Top 150 prospects in the offensive trenches.

•  Top players: C Darius James, OT Kent Perkins, OT Jake Raulerson, WR Jacorey Warrick, CB Antwuan Davis

20. OREGON DUCKS

•  Comment: After Chip Kelly’s departure, new head coach Mark Helfrich kept the Ducks’ class intact for the most part.
