Rick Ross no role model

 

The Feb. 2 front page of The Herald is a despicable example of our decadent morals.

The photo and content of the article, The Real Rick Ross, doesn’t belong on the front page.

What kind of standards for a “super-star’’ are we showing our children?

It is just gross and disrespectful.

    Adding beds won’t solve homeless problem

    Re the June 14 story City to add 15 beds at shelters: Over the last several weeks our community has watched several Miami commissioners’ efforts to deal with the homeless population in and around the downtown urban core.

  • Obama no war monger

    There are, of course, many reasons to be grateful that President Obama defeated Sen. John McCain in 2008. But perhaps Syria is the biggest reason.

  • Team’s conduct unbecoming

    Shame on the Miami Heat players, team management and the NBA for the deportment of the Heat players during the playing of the National Anthem before Game 4. Their disrespect was reprehensible and warrants immediate action by the league office. Not one of them rendered appropriate honor to our nation. They looked like a bunch of thugs.
