Two brothers, ages 3 and 5, were believed to have been kidnapped on Monday afternoon from their North Miami home by a family acquaintance.

According to police, the boys, Daren and Rey Bonilla, were taken as they were being watched by a baby sitter by a woman named Gloria.

Police said they did not know of a motive. The mother called police when she realized the boys had been taken without her permission.

Gloria, believed to be in her early 20s, was last seen wearing a gray, long-sleeve shirt and blue jeans, and driving a silver SUV.

Investigators asked anyone with information on the whereabouts of the boys to call Detective Felix Guadarrama at 786-255-6070.
