UM med school turns to Palm Beach to raise money

The folks at the University of Miami’s school of medicine traveled where money lives over the weekend.

That put them at The Breakers in Palm Beach for the second annual "Solving the Neurological Puzzle" black-tie fundraiser.

And the 400 guests or so well-heeled guests who paid up to $1,000 for seats came out to support research and clinical care for victims of diseases such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s.

According to Jim star Jim Belushi supplied the laughs and some Blues Brothers music, a year after late night host Jay Leno entertained the same crowd.
