All immigrants want treatment Cubans get

As usual, Fidel Castro and his little brother, Raúl, are way ahead in the political game of immigration politics. President Obama is now proposing a protracted amnesty for illegal immigrants who learn English, pay their taxes, and wait possibly 15 years to become a citizen. Suddenly now, Marco Rubio for his own party’s benefit and his own personal ambitions may agree on this amnesty that his tea party supporters should reject outright.

The irony is that all immigrants want the same preferential treatment that Cubans have, and the next wave will soon be on its way with or without a comprehensive immigration reform. Fidel and Raúl win again.

  • Good job, IRS

Bravo to the IRS for doing their job. With Tea Partiers dedicated to overthrowing the government, forcefully if necessary, why should they receive tax-exempt status?
