Jungle Island introduces slithery new program

Jungle Island is betting that some people in the world want to get up close and personal with snakes, scorpions, frogs and alligators — and pay for the privilege.

The Miami attraction, at 1111 Parrot Jungle Trail, this week introduced the interactive “Critter Tales” experience. Priced at $99.95 for adults and $91.95 for children ages 3-10, the program offers interaction with a Burmese python, emperor scorpion, tree frog and alligator (all under the supervision of a guide).

The cost of the experience includes the $34.95 admission for adults and $26.95 entry fee for kids.
