‘Agnes of God’


New Theatre is presenting John Pielmeier’s intense psychological mystery play ‘Agnes of God,’ featuring Christina Groom as a novice nun accused of killing her newborn baby. Also in the cast are Pamela Roza as the psychiatrist probing her sanity and Barbara Sloan as the young woman’s protective Mother Superior. Performances are 8 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, 1 and 5:30 p.m. Sunday (no late show Feb. 3), through Feb. 17. Tickets are $40 ($35 Thursday and Sunday evening, $15 student rush, first 25 students under 25 get in free opening weekend).
