As part of our tradition of having an open and transparent government, we will be hosting a Town Hall Meeting next Wednesday, Feb. 6 at the Royal Oaks Park Community Center, 16500 NW 87 Ave.

From 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. there will be a Community BBQ with free hotdogs, hamburgers and beverages where residents will have the opportunity to meet and mingle with the Town’s elected officials and staff.

At 7 p.m., inside the community center, there will be a Town Hall Meeting where residents will be able to give their input on two topics:

1. What the Town’s priorities should be when spending your tax dollars,

2. Presentation to solicit your views on a proposal from the Miami Dolphins to fund renovations to their stadium.

After brief presentations, the floor will be open to solicit the views of Miami Lakes residents on these important topics.

The purpose of the Town Hall Meeting is to bring the community together to get your views before we make important decisions.

Sincerely,

Mayor Michael Pizz, Miami Lakes
