Florida: Seminole State reopens planetarium

Out of this world

Stargazers in Central Florida now have a new place where they can marvel at the universe. Seminole State College in Sanford has completed more than $150,000 worth of renovations to its planetarium, including the addition of new seats, modern lighting and a projection system that gives viewers a high-tech view of stars, planets and other celestial wonders. The 55-seat planetarium, closed since November, now holds public shows on Friday and Saturday evenings.
