Venus meets her match with hot model

Tennis legend Venus Williams has a great new career as an interior designer, recently revamping a few rooms at the Intercontinental Miami Hotel. The 32-year-old also reportedly has a handsome man in her court. The athlete’s rumored guy is model Elio Alberto Pis, 24. Paps caught him preening on Miami Beach in a form-fitting bathing suit the other day.

According to his Facebook page, Pis graduated from Marathon High, Class of 2006, and studied psychology at Miami Dade College and Florida International University. He describes himself as a “constant thinker, optimistic, a free spirit and blunt.”

They met when Pis posed for Williams’ EleVen line.

See the avid checker player bench press 315 pounds (twice with no spotter!) at www.youtube.com/user/QbanHustler1. “Piece of cake,” Pis posts under the video.

Florida Panthers fans can look forward to a new in-arena co-host for the 2013 hockey season: Andrea Ocampo-Haley.

“I think she brings a professional and whimsical approach to the position wrapped in a flair that is all South Florida,” said Pete Soto, senior director, presentation & production for PanthersVision.

A South Florida native, Andrea got her start as a Miami Dolphins cheerleader while attending the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale for broadcast journalism. After graduating, Andrea went on to work with AOL News’ FanHouse TV, Kellogg’s, Miami Fashion Week and TeleAmerica.

Currently, you can catch the rising star in a nationally airing KFC Dip’ems commercial.

The legendary Wonder performed for well over two hours, singing covers by The Beatles, Michael Jackson and Bob Marley as well as his own greatest hits. Wonder also invited some of the audience, this writer included, to audition for him on his hit, Part Time Lover. While he told us we were better than the previous, uh, contestant, we’ll be keeping the full time day job.
