The Miami Dolphins visited Coral Gables Preparatory Academy on Jan. 10 for the Gatorade Junior Training Camp, which attracted over 180 students.

“The students enjoyed the challenge of the activities and the opportunity to use different equipment,” said Carlos E. Martinez, assistant principal.

The Miami Dolphins Youth Programs’ vision is to prepare the next generation of leaders in staying physically active through its junior training camps and youth football clinics and camps.

“We want to continue to stress the importance of staying physically fit, making positive choices, and receiving an education,” said Troy Drayton, alumni and youth programs coordinator for the Dolphins. “They are the future athletes, doctors, lawyers and teachers, so we want to guide them on the right path.”
