Ramzi Kassem’s Jan. 17 article, The problem with ‘Zero Dark Thirty,’ confuses enhanced interrogation techniques with torture. Torture is innocent people standing in the windows of the Twin Towers and trying to decide if they’re going to die a horrible death in the flames of a fire or splatter themselves on the pavement below. Torture is innocent men, women and children on an airplane seeing they’re being flown deliberately into a building.
If Kassem’s clients had scars, at least they’re walking around with them.
