I applaud Algeria’s rapid response to the Islamic terrorists’ attack on the natural gas facility. It is indeed unfortunate that 23 hostages were killed, but the effective response killed all 32 terrorists and saved the lives of 685 Algerians and 107 foreign workers, all of whom would have been eventually killed by the terrorists. The United States and the rest of the civilized world should learn from this lesson.
