Veteran ABC newswoman Barbara Walters took a trip to the hospital after falling at an inauguration party in Washington, D.C.

ABC News spokesman Jeffrey Schneider says the 83-year-old Walters fell Saturday night at the residence of Britain’s ambassador to the United States, Peter Westmacott. The fall left The View co-host with a cut on her forehead.

Schneider said Sunday "out of an abundance of caution" Walters went to a hospital for treatment.

New man?

As Bethenny Frankel focuses on healing after filing for divorce from Jason Hoppy, she seems to have a very special supporter by her side: hedge fund mogul Warren Lichtenstein.

"Bethenny and Warren have been great friends for more than 20 years, and he has really been a support system," a source told the U.K.’s Daily Mail.

The source quelled rumors that the reality star, 42, moved into his $6.3 million Upper East Side, N.Y., apartment. However, she reportedly stayed at the billionaire’s place for one night with 2-year-old daughter Bryn "so that she and Bryn could have some girl time."
