New cast member on ‘Kourtney & Kim Take Miami’

There’s a new kid on the Kourtney & Kim Take Miami block: Chapman Ducote.

His role on the reality show, premiering on E! Sunday night: Scott Disick’s mentor and doppelgänger (note the slick hair and suits). He is also a bit of an instigator.

The 36-year-old UM grad and professional race car driver has a bromance thing going on with Disick, which infuriates his girlfriend, Kourtney.

At least the New Orleans native is married ( Kristin is an attorney), so maybe he’ll get the ball rolling for the longtime lovebirds/parents of two.

Ducote had a great time filming with the famous pack.

“It was phenomenal,” says Ducote, who is the president and CEO of a credit card processing company in Miami Beach. “Regardless of what people read in the tabloids or on Perez [Hilton], the whole family is kind, disarmingly polite and extraordinarily engaging and fun to be around.”

So, anything fake about the show? Nope, says Ducote, just possibly the plump lips and extensions.

“I can tell you first hand that they call it reality TV because it really is. Truth is indeed stranger than fiction, and some of the funniest moments were at the most unexpected times.”
