New tax, but only if Miami-Dade benefits

 

Bringing the Super Bowl to Miami is an economic boon to many businesses not only hotels and restaurants. I would be in favor of the extra bed tax with the restrictions that all host hotels, both for the teams and NFL, must be in Miami-Dade County.

If businesses in Broward County would like to benefit, then you must pay to play. The days of free lunches are over.

    On five Sunday television talk shows, the Obama administration sent out senior advisor Dan Pfeiffer to downplay the three recent scandals: AP, IRS and Benghazi. His claim that the still-unanswered question of where President Obama was and what he did was irrelevant, since Obama was in contact with his staff, was particularly outrageous.
