Prince Harry is one hot bachelor

Prince Harry is one hot commodity. Town & Country’s February issue — “Top 50 Bachelors: A Tell-All Survey of the Most Eligible Men in the World” – puts the regal redhead squarely on the cover and No. 1 on the list.

“He’s the wild-card royal, the naughty one, the one who goes out with rah women, hangs out with a fast crowd, downs too many drinks, and goes home at the wrong moment,” reads the article. “That’s why we all like him best. Harry might not possess a towering intellect — he was a lackadaisical student at Eton, and he skipped university to go to Sandhurst, the English equivalent of West Point — but he is cooler and more appealing than his older brother, sweet as William undoubtedly is.”

Simmer down, ladies. Harry will undoubtedly need to marry a woman with some blue in her blood.

It’s settled, then

Speaking of the royal scene, Prince Albert of Monaco has accepted an apology and damages from Britain’s Sunday Times newspaper over an article suggesting his wife Princess Charlene was reluctant to marry him and that he paid her to do so, lawyers said Tuesday. The article — headlined “The Full Filthy Monte” — also alleged that Albert had turned a blind eye to corrupt activity and granted residence permits to foreigners for fear of having alleged secrets about his love life exposed.

Super fans

Country superstar Keith Urban had no problem saying “yes” when American Idol producers approached him to be one of the judges. Urban revealed that he and wife, Nicole Kidman, are huge fans of the show. AI debuted with a two-part opener Wednesday and continues 8 p.m. Thursday on Fox. Auditions and eliminations will be held until the top 10 finalists are announced March 5-7.

Brood expands

Will Charlie Sheen, 47, be a winning grandpa? He announced to David Letterman that his oldest daughter, Cassandra Estevez Huffman, 28, is pregnant. Mom is Sheen’s high school sweetheart, Paula Profit Speert.

Hot mess

Terminator actor Edward Furlong has been charged with misdemeanor battery on an ex-girlfriend during an altercation in L.A. Sunday morning. He was arrested on suspicion of battery and for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant on another domestic violence battery case involving the same woman. The 35-year-old actor pleaded not guilty in the new case Tuesday and is due back in court on Jan. 25.
