I always questioned how someone with Gov. Rick Scott’s record was elected governor and then I read Carol Cox’s Jan. 9 letter. Her assessment of Scott’s improvements to Florida was funny. Unemployment in our state has dropped along with the rest of the nation as a result of President Obama’s initiatives, but foreclosures are once again on the rise.
Her highly “scientific” poll to assess why people voted for Obama answered the question. Two years after the Tea Party exposed their radical ideology, not only did the nation re-elect Obama, but ousted Republicans in both houses. Intelligence and sanity once again enjoyed a victory
