For the last few weeks, I’ve heard many interviews with gun owners stating that the Second Amendment means that they would have the capability to protect themselves and go to war, if need be, with their own United States government.
For that reason, they justify their semi-automatic weapons with large capacity magazines that could kill hundreds of people in minutes.
Do these people think that they could be a match for the United States military if our government went rogue and tried to impose a monarchy or dictatorship?
Do they have an inkling of the arsenal that the military possesses?
The insanity of such an argument is beyond rational comprehension.
Either they are delusional or they’re lying, or maybe a little of both.
