Dolphins defensive end Cameron Wake was named to The Associated Press All-Pro team Saturday, capping a season in which he collected 15 sacks.
Besides ranking fourth in the league in sacks, Wake also had three forced fumbles and 38 tackles.
Wake shifted from outside linebacker to defensive end this season as Miami transitioned from a 3-4 to a 4-3 defense.
The Dolphins have had six other players named to the AP All-Pro first team since 2000: Jason Taylor, Zach Thomas, Jake Long, Sam Madison, Patrick Surtain and Ricky Williams. Long was the most recent, in 2010.
In 2010, Wake was named all-NFL first team by the Sporting News and All-NFL second team by AP.
