High-profile South Florida Realtor killed in car crash

High-profile South Florida Realtor Chappy Adams died in the car crash that shut down PGA Boulevard early Thursday morning in Palm Beach Gardens.

Adams, 48, whose real name was Francis, was divorced and had a little girl.

The death rocked the state’s real estate world. Adams was president of Illustrated Properties, with 20 offices in major cities one of the state’s biggest real estate firms.

Adams’ Mercedes crashed into a tree about 4 a.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
