Mariah: I’m scared of Nicki

 

In a Nightline interview with Barbara Walters set to air Tuesday night, Mariah Carey addresses the ongoing feud with fellow American Idol judge Nicki Minaj. The singer and mother of two told Walters she hired extra security after Minaj threatened to shoot her during an audition in North Carolina. Minaj has denied making the gun remarks.

Health crisis

Funnyman Larry Miller has been MIA. Why? He was recovering from a brain injury. In April, the Curb Your Enthusiasm regular, 55, slipped and hit his head, his rep told People. His podcast, This Week With Larry Miller, is scheduled to resume Wednesday.

Stalker alert

Laurence Fishburne has been granted a temporary restraining order against an ex-convict who claims to own the actor’s home and went there on New Year’s Day to try to evict him. Mark Francisco was sentenced to serve two years in state prison on a cyberstalking conviction in 2010, and he spent time in a state mental hospital.

Moving in

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are setting up house, and we’re sure the nursery is fabulous. TMZ reports the pair have bought an $11 million, 10,000-square-foot mansion in tony Bel Air.

Small victory

Kate Winslet’s new husband Ned Rocknroll won an injunction in a British court to stop a tabloid The Sun publishing photos of him partly naked at a costume party. Lawyers for the nephew of Virgin media tycoon Richard Branson say Winslet’s children could be bullied as a result of publication.
