Weather alert: Early rain, highs in the low-80s

South Florida is seeing some early rain Tuesday morning. The forecast for the rest of the day calls for a 20 percent chance of showers, scattered clouds and a high of about 82.

Temperatures will drop Tuesday night to about 70.

The forecast will be similar through the workweek, with highs in the low-80s and lows in the upper-60s. Winds will pick up Tuesday night, with gusts 18-25 mph.

The region will cool off slightly Friday and saturday nights, with lows in the mid-60s.
