Miami Central places four on Class 6A All-State football team

Miami Central had four members of its state championship squad named to the Class 6A All-State football team released Friday by The Associated Press.

The Rockets’ dynamic running back duo of juniors Joe Yearby and Dalvin Cook were joined by senior defensive back Ahmad Thomas and senior kicker Emilio Nadelman.

Homestead junior wide receiver phenom Ermon Lane also earned first-team honors as did Belen Jesuit senior offensive tackle Keonte Cash.

Plantation American Heritage standout junior running back Sony Michel was the lone South Florida representative on the Class 5A All-State first team.
