Since its grand opening earlier last year, Lennar’s Kendall Square has been highly noticed, says a company spokesperson.

Crowds of prospective buyers have visited the Lennar Welcome Home Center to learn about the community, which captures the essence of a bygone era of neighborhoods with numerous parks, meandering walkways, homes with old-fashioned front porches and multi-generational home designs.

Kendall Square’s model homes are currently under construction. The community offers townhomes and single-family homes, including a multi-generational design known as Lennar’s Next Gen – The Home Within a Home.

“Lennar’s Next Gen – The Home Within a Home is a whole new concept that buyers are excited about, especially when looking to live with their parents or adult children,” explains Carlos Gonzalez, president of Lennar’s Southeast Florida Division. “Kendall Square brings back family living the way it used to be, now upgraded with living space designed to function as an individual residence with a private kitchen, living area, bath and a private entrance.”

Kendall Square’s selection of floor plans includes seven three- and four-bedroom townhomes with garage priced from the low $200,000s, and 10 different single-family homes priced from the upper $200,000s with up to five bedrooms. All homes include features such as a loft or studio, and custom details including decorative archways, built-in niches and French-style doors, expansive front porches and porte-cocheres.

Whether buyers prefer the French Provincial, Coral Gables or California style with rustic stone facades, the special designs of the homes aligned down linear green islands give Kendall Square a warm, homey feel unlike anything else in the area, says Gonzalez.

There are more than 30 acres of lakes and green space throughout the neighborhood plus a community clubhouse with children’s playroom, fitness center, infinity-edge pool, outdoor gazebo with barbeque area and fire pit, and kids water play zone.

Lennar’s Everything’s Included Home package includes an array of extras such as the Nexia Home Intelligence System, offering the convenience of remote/keyless access, temperature and lighting control and real-time security camera.

To see the almost 64 square-foot scale model of Kendall Square and take a virtual tour of the community, visit the Lennar Welcome Home Center. Take Florida’s Turnpike west to Kendall Drive and drive just past SW 167th Avenue. The community is on the left side. For more information, call 305-357-6667 or visit Lennar.com/KendallSquare.
