Neither the Democrats nor the Republicans are for the people, but for the parties. I have talked to many people and most think that if the rich have a small increase in their taxes, they will still be rich. However, ordinary folks like me will really hurt with less money to maintain our standard of living.

The real problem for this country is spending by a government that is out of control. Both Democrats and Republicans reject anything the other suggests. I thought our elected lawmakers represented us, but they only represent their own special interests.

We might as well join the Greeks in their problems because that is where we are headed. For both parties, their “my way or the highway” attitude will take the United States down, and we will end up a third-world country. Because of the idiots running our country, we need a third party in the next election for balance.
