New Year

Hot men of 2012

As 2012 draws to a close, we took a look back at a few handsome famous faces that have graced the small and big screens. Here’s to seeing (much) more of them next year.

Ryan Gosling: The lanky blond may be re-creating The Notebook kissing scene on a daily basis with Eva Mendes, but we will be able to pine for him shortly in The Place Beyond the Pines.

Ryan Reynolds: The “other” Canadian Ryan is happily married to Blake Lively but still alive and well. Ironically, one of Reynolds’ next projects is playing an undead cop in R.I.P.D.

Daniel Craig: One of the big reasons Skyfall was such a smashing success was this dashing man — and his abs.

Bradley Cooper: Mr. Blue Eyes makes us swoon in whatever vehicle, be it comedy ( The Hangover) or deadly serious drama ( The Words). We’ll have what he’s having.

Simon Baker: If the Aussie Mentalist star really could read our thoughts, he might blush.

Ian Somerhalder: Nina Dobrev may have landed her gorgeous Vampire Diaries costar, a former model, but we have the pause button.

Idris Elba: The Luther star has been known to make jaws drop in person. And not just for his nifty British accent.

William Levy: Dancing with the Stars put this telenovela hunk on the national map, but Miamians already knew what we had in our midst.

Gabriel Soto: The Un Refugio para el Amor star is another reason to watch telenovelas. All we can say is keep up the good work ... at the gym.

Jon Hamm: The impeccable jaw line, impish smile and twinkling eyes are the stuff of (very good) dreams.

Ray Stevenson: Bravo to the Dexter casting folks. This debonair Brit was actually able to steal scenes from our redheaded antihero, Michael C. Hall. Can he come back in flashback next season?

Josh Duhamel: Not only is Fergie’s husband ridiculously adorable but also he is Tim Tebow’s greatest defender.

Jesse Williams: Sure, we like to get scared as much as anybody at the movies. But we re-watch Cabin in the Woods for another reason, and this guy is it.

Matt Bomer: Four beautiful words just made our year a little brighter: Magic Mike, The Sequel.
