Dave Letterman : Jay Leno is so insecure

In a new interview with Oprah Winfrey, Late Show host David Letterman opens up a bit about his rival, the Tonight Show’s host Jay Leno.

Letterman sat down with Winfrey for an upcoming episode of her show, Oprah’s Next Chapter. It airs Jan 6 on OWN.

Letterman said their rivalry did not begin when his former friend was named the host of The Tonight Show instead of Letterman, who had fond words for his colleague.

“I’m happy to say, that I think he is the funniest guy I’ve ever known. Just flat out, if you go to see him do his nightclub act, just the funniest, the smartest, a wonderful observationist and very appealing as a comic.”

But, Letterman added, “The fact that he is also maybe the most insecure person I have ever known. . . . I could never reconcile that.”

Cat fight!

It’s a good thing vodka wasn’t involved.

The dainty gloves were off during the Real Housewives of Miami Part One reunion Bravo Thursday night. Even Andy Cohen looked a little verklempt over the utter viciousness.

Ana Quincoces showed off a fiery side, not only defending pal Marysol Patton but also calling out Lea Black on many levels. One comment was a little below the belt, ripping on her age; Ana is not far behind: “Sit down or else you might break a hip.”

The feisty lawyer reduced the philanthropist to someone who used to “sell cold creams out of the back of her Pinto in Waco, Texas” and only is where she is today by working “on her back.”

Then came Adriana de Moura vs. Joanna Krupa. The Brazilian art expert claimed Krupa’s boyfriend, Mynt owner Romain Zago, was having affairs behind the model’s back and that she wasn’t the only “p---y” in Miami. Apparently the two haven’t split up (de Moura claims the rumor was a publicity stunt). In between bleeps, Krupa accused De Moura of bullying but Quincoces didn’t take that term lightly.

All in all, it was a horrific cat fight, and we can’t imagine how Part II will go down next Thursday with the addition of Alexia Echevarria (who can’t stand Day Glo dentist Karent Sierra) and Mama Bear Elsa Patton, who looks to be threatening someone in the trailer for next week, saying, “I’m a very good friend and a very bad enemy.”
