W. Charlotte star tops Jr. OB tourney field

There are two brackets of eight schools each in this year’s Junior OB tournament.

The aforementioned schools are in the national bracket, which is for the higher-rated teams.

In the local bracket, only No. 5 Booker T. Washington (Class 4A) is ranked among the state’s top 10 teams.

The other teams in the local bracket are Cooper City, Coral Park, Central, Mater Academy, Killian, Doral and host Reagan.
