A woman apparently shot herself Wednesday at a gun range in Pembroke Park and later died.
It happened at Pembroke Gun and Range, 3130 SW 19th St. The woman, whom authorities did not immediately identify, was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood by Broward Sheriff’s Office Fire Rescue shortly after 2 p.m.
It appeared to investigators that the woman had shot herself, BSO said. What exactly happened was still under investigation.
A man who answered the telephone at the gun range and identified himself as the manager declined to comment.
