Janet Jackson is going to walk down the aisle in Middle Eastern style. The singer is engaged to Qatari billionaire Wissam Al Mana, UsWeekly reports. Yes, billionaire. Al Mana is a 37-year-old luxury-brand mogul, and the magazine reports the spring shindig will be an over-the-top affair. A source tells Us that he is flying in all of Janet’s friends and huge, extended family on private jets and is hiring a celebrity chef to prepare the food.

Jackson, 46, has been married twice before, to dancer/songwriter Rene Elizondo (1991-2000) and James DeBarge (1984-85). Let’s hope this one sticks because rumor is she wants a child, be it natural or adopted.

The bachelor

Tom Cruise is living the post-divorce high life. In Touch is reporting that the action hero is dating Cynthia Jorge, a 26-year-old restaurant manager. The Jack Reacher star, 50, was spotted “sweeping her around the dance floor,” at NYC’s Le Baron nightclub in the early morning of Dec. 18. “Tom seemed to be in his own world, completely smitten,” a spy blabbed.

The two met earlier last month Lower East Side resto-lounge Beauty & Essex, where Jorge works. A fellow coworker told the magazine that Cruise was eating there with some business associates, and Jorge was nervy enough to hand him her business card.

Game on

The rumors of the demise of the Katy Perry-John Mayer romance have been greatly exaggerated. Mayer went home for the holidays to Perry’s family’s home in Santa Barbara, Calif. On Christmas, Perry, 28, Tweeted a photo of her boyfriend, 35, in a Santa Claus suit with a sexy expression. The caption: “Santa Baby.”

Mexican vacay

Jennifer Aniston is soaking up the sun in Cabo San Lucas, her favorite spot for a break. The actress arrived with fiancé Justin Theroux by private jet, The Daily Mail reports. Aniston, 43, stepped out of the plane with a jacket against her stomach, yet again sparking pregnancy rumors. Later she was photographed sunbathing in a bikini by prying paps. But that aerial pic showed no bump at all.

Small victory

A judge tossed out Jennifer Lopez’s $20 million extortion lawsuit against her former chauffeur Hakob Manoukian. The driver had sued Lopez, saying he was forced to resign by J.Lo’s manager Benny Medina. Lopez later claimed Manoukian demanded $2.8 million from her or else he’d air secrets he heard while she was in the back seat. Manoukian’s attorney filed a motion to dismiss J.Lo’s countersuit; the judge ruled in his favor.

Cue the lullabies

Glee creator Ryan Murphy and husband David Miller celebrated the holidays with a bundle of joy. “Logan Phineas Miller Murphy, Born December 24, 9:47 a.m.,” the couple wrote in an email to friends, E! News reports. Murphy, 47, and Miller, a photographer, married in July in Provincetown, Mass.
