I am very disappointed by the lack of holiday spirit the Marlins owners have shown to the surrounding neighborhood and even to people who still come on a daily basis to take pictures in front of the stadium.
Not one lighted palm tree, not one big Christmas tree. It seems they are only interested in coming by when there are games and there is money to be made.
Being very ingenious, I thought this park would be comparable to Disney in a way. Even though Disney is in business to make money, its goal is to make people feel happy, even though it may be temporary.
Not so, with Marlins Park. No games, it is dark, except for the parking lots. Not a lighted star or Santa Claus (even in a picture) around to make any child smile.
