I’m writing to express my agreement with Warren Buffett. While I’m among those who would be impacted by Mr. Buffett’s suggested minimum tax on high incomes, and by the elimination of the Bush tax cuts for high-income taxpayers, I’m also among those who are willing to pay higher taxes in the effort to correct our course.
We must move toward solutions and away from the fiscal cliff with steps that preserve and protect our national well-being, and provide opportunities for future generations to thrive and prosper.
To that end, I’m also writing to members of Congress to add my voice to that of Mr. Buffett’s.
I hope others will join me in this effort. This stalemate must end, and there’s no time to waste.
