Every day the news drowns us with stories of hate. Neighbor hates neighbor. Fighting results. War results. Peace is a word that the community of man fights for, never achieves, and so fighting and war continue.
Nature in its violent form of earthquakes, hurricanes and typhoons has no feelings of vengeance or greed of politics. Just as a lion roars, Nature speaks its own language.
Aside from the natural forms by which it expresses itself, Nature teams with its partner — the community of man. In this form Nature slowly, but relentlessly, destroys its partner. Its partner pollutes and heedlessly fills the air he breathes with noxious fumes. Innocent Nature does not decree such things, but it acts as a result. And so, the earth warms, the glaciers melt, the fish die, continents are swallowed up by the inevitable encroachment of the waters, and man curses Nature and calls it his enemy.
But who is the real enemy? Man. Man hates himself and so destroys himself.
