WWE announced The Most Electrifying Man in Sports and Entertainment The Rock will return to Raw on Monday, Jan. 7 in Tampa and SmackDown on Tuesday, Jan. 8 in Miami.

Broadcast on the USA Network, the three-hour Raw show begins live at 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7 from the Tampa Bay Times Forum.

Bell time is 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8 for SmackDown, the show named after The Rock, at the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami. SmackDown is taped Tuesdays and broadcasts Fridays on Syfy.

The Rock, a University of Miami graduate, is preparing for his title match against WWE champ CM Punk (with Paul Heyman) at the WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view on Sunday, Jan. 27 from the US Airways Center in Phoenix. That is the set-up pay-per-view for WrestleMania 29 in East Rutherford, N.J.

This will be the first time The Rock returns to South Florida since his electrifying win over John Cena in the main event of WWE WrestleMania 28 before a Sun Life Stadium record 78,000-plus fans in Miami Gardens. It was the highest grossing pro wrestling PPV in history and highest grossing WWE live event.

Tickets now on sale for Raw in Tampa, SmackDown in Miami, the Royal Rumble in Phoenix and WrestleMania 29 in East Rutherford, N.J.
