Tim Tebow is free to stand under the mistletoe: He’s back on the playing field.

UsWeekly reports that the football king and When A Stranger Calls star Camilla Belle have gone their separate ways.

They were together less than two months.

A source tells the magazine that “it just didn’t work out” between the New York Jets quarterback and, 25, and Belle, 26.

The devout Christian and actress were first spotted bowling with friends in Jacksonville in late October.

Christmas baby

Hugh Dancy sent one of the best emails of his life on Tuesday, his friends say. One pal sent the e-missive to The New York Post regarding the birth of his son Cyrus with Claire Danes: “Mother and baby are well, healthy, and happy. Together we send our love to you all.”

Who’s that girl?

Don’t feel sorry for Tom Cruise. The Jack Reacher star may not be home alone for the holidays.

Photos surfaced last week of Cruise, 50, chatting with a pretty blonde at a nightclub in Stockholm following the premiere of his new movie. Life & Style identifies her as Jennifer Akerman, the younger sister of pregnant actress Malin Akerman.

The two reportedly first met during the filming of Rock of Ages, in which Tom and Malin costarred.

Budding romance

Carmen Electra will likely be showered with gifts this holiday season. Her quasi boyfriend Simon Cowell, who is beyond rich, confirmed they are dating. The 53-year-old music mogul called in to On Air with Ryan Seacrest Wednesday to talk about The X Factor finale Thursday and simply said of the 40-year-old: “She’s not my girlfriend. We’re people who date.” How very proper.

Ice princess

Paris Hilton may have finally picked herself a winner. After literally dozens of boyfriends and indiscretions, her new guy, model River Viiperi, seems to be treating her right. He tweeted about their vacation in Aspen: “Relaxing and having fun with my Princess while waiting for the food! #Romanticdinner #Datenight #Dreamscometrue.”
