Feed Me More has become one of the ways Ryback has connected with the audience. However, he says the phrase goes beyond being able to win an eating contest.

“It’s not food based,” Ryback said. “I’m a psycho for success, I like to say. I’m very competitive and like to be the best in everything I do. They were giving me the local athletes. I think it was the second or third week, and I don’t want to say I was sick of it, but I wanted more. After the matches I was screaming something. I remember after covering the one guy and screaming, ‘Feed Me More.’”

“I talked to Vince and everyone in the back asking for more. I wanted more. It’s the way I lead my life in general. I always want more and more. It’s never enough. I’m always striving for more. I love food and all that, but it’s not food based. It’s funny that it did end up being my catchphrase with the way I do eat, but it’s more from a competition based standpoint. I just want the company to give me more and more because I can handle it.”

The company did add more appetizing to the popular superstar’s plate with matches against the likes of The Miz and CM Punk, who is sidelined with a knee injury. Ryback can’t wait for his future title shot against the straight-edge WWE champion.

“It has been great being in the ring with CM Punk,” he said. “I look forward to taking the championship from him. I think a lot of people are anticipating CM Punk versus The Rock. I know both of them are making tweets about how they’re gearing up for the Royal Rumble. I know we have one pay-per-view before that. Sometimes you can’t control the uncontrollable.

“Nobody expected me to be where I am right now, except for me. I would love to be the one who faces Dwayne [Johnson] at the Royal Rumble. That is definitely one of my goals, but it’s been great working with CM Punk and beating him up all the time. My goal is to win the WWE championship and continue my dominance on Raw and SmackDown. I want to be a workhorse for this company and prove to everyone that said I couldn’t do it wrong. I want to be a staple for WWE for many years to come.”
