Bob Sharak leaving cruise group, will become consultant

After nearly 20 years with the group, Robert “Bob” Sharak is leaving his position as senior vice president for sales and trade relations with the Cruise Lines International Association.

According to a press release issued Thursday by the trade organization, Sharak will become executive consultant to CLIA, effective right away.

Margaret Murphy, who came to CLIA in January as a marketing consultant, will become senior vice president of marketing and trade relations.
