I was very impressed with The Herald’s coverage of World Aids Day. We have come such a long way and made so much progress, that HIV doesn’t have to be a death sentence anymore.
It was the plague of the 80’s, and although it took some time to get it under control, it is far from the disease of the past.
Let’s put our partisan views aside and work together to get our representatives to allocate what is needed for the Global Fund. AIDS is a universal problem with no borders or boundaries.
After all is said and done, we are one world.
