WWE superstar Alberto Del Rio, the pompous Latin aristocrat, enjoys the finer things in life, no matter the cost, but even he knows a good deal when he sees one.

WWE returns to Miami for the first time since WrestleMania 28 Week on Tuesday, Jan. 8 for a WWE SmackDown TV taping at the AmericanAirlines Arena, home of the Miami Heat and 2012 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony. Ticket prices are as low as $20, and with the holidays around the corner, it would make a pleasing present for all ages, especially kids.

“Definitely, we can do everything for the WWE Universe, and it would be a great present,” Del Rio said. “It will be an incredible show. We always present the best of the best in sports entertainment, and that night is going to be fantastic with all the superstars -- John Cena, Big Show, Sheamus, Randy Orton, and especially Alberto Del Rio.

“Miami is my hometown. I live 30 minutes from the AmericanAirlines Arena. All my friends are going to be there; all the beautiful people of Miami will be there. So you know it’s going to be great.”

WWE SmackDown, taped on Tuesdays, is 8 p.m. EST Fridays on Syfy.

No doubt he will be bringing his cars.

“I love classic cars,” Del Rio said. “My favorite one is the Shelby 55. I’ve used it a couple of times for TV. I also enjoy other cars, classic cars, of course. I love Mustangs, Corvettes, Camaros.”

****Spoiler alert****

When Del Rio appears at the AmericanAirlines Arena on Jan. 8, he plans to drive a Ford Mustang 1965.

“I love that car,” he said. “I actually bought that car for my dad for his birthday, but I’m going to use it for TV, and then I’m going to give it to my father.

“My dad is in love with this car, that particular model, and I was looking for that car for over a year, and I finally found it.”

His father, Dos Caras, a legendary Mexican wrestler, celebrates his birthday in February.

“So I have another two months to enjoy the Mustang,” Del Rio chuckled.

What about the holidays?

“I don’t know what I’ll get my father for Christmas,” Del Rio said, “but I will try to get him something spectacular.”

Hard to top the birthday gift.

Will Alberto Del Rio be getting himself a car for Christmas?

“Yea, probably,” he smiled.

The holidays are an exciting time for the Del Rio family.

“My father always took us to many different places through the years,” Del Rio said, “and I still remember when he took all of us on a trip to Egypt. That was fantastic for me. I was like 9 or 10-years-old, and it was a really great experience. Then I had a chance to go to Egypt again as an adult with WWE. Once I was there again, I was remembering everything.

“Definitely, that was a special Christmas present for me and all my brothers.”

Del Rio, who likes shopping at Hugo Boss, is thinking of planning a family trip for the holidays.

“I don’t think we’re going to stay in Florida for Christmas eve,” he said. “I already asked my family, and they’re happy about it, especially my mom because she doesn’t have to cook.”

****Spoiler alert****

Del Rio plans to dress as Santa for his 3-year-old son.

“Now my son is old enough to know what Christmas is, what Santa Claus represents,” Del Rio said, “so I want to make this one special for him.”
